"Stop Think Choose" Creative Character Education Series - Volume One Book + CD Bundle - helps elementary school counselors train their students in ten important life skills that they will need to succeed in school and life: Responsibility, Impulse Control, Anger Management, Empathy, Self Esteem, Stress Relief, Persistence, Shyness, Competitiveness and Bully Prevention.The Book consists of ten modules, one for each of the above good character traits. Each module starts with objectives and materials needed, and consists of a theme-specific story, song, call and response lyric/poem, activities, assessment questions and reproducible artwork to demonstrate the importance of that character trait.

The "Stop Think Choose" Book also includes the American School Counselor Association's Mindsets and Behaviors Planning Tool and each module includes a checklist of ASCA standards that the lesson fulfills. The Book is spiral bound to make it easy to reproduce artwork and keep your place while teaching.

The CD consists of 20 tracks: ten songs with lead vocals and ten karaoke-style songs that you can sing or speak with your children. This beautiful music is composed and sung by Steve Couch using elementary school children in the choruses. Your students will dance and sing to these exciting tunes while learning the good behaviors that are so important to their lives!
