Ages: 8-18. Creates a unique opportunity for kids and teens to understand the special skills that are associated with ADHD and apply these skills to everyday problems and concerns. This game takes a positive approach to helping kids and teens with ADHD, helping them see that their differences can also be strengths. Ideally, the game will help players see that their strengths can also be used to address problems associated with ADHD. Developed by Lawrence E. Shapiro Ph.D., a nationally recognized expert in emotional intelligence, this game can be played at home or in counseling sessions.

Sample cards:

• In 30 seconds or less, tell the player on your left about your favorite board or card game and why you like it. Then ask that player to summarize what you just said. You get one point if you don't go over 30 seconds. The other player gets two points if he/she remembers the important things you said.
• What does the phrase "look before you leap" mean? Can you give an example from your own life?
• Christopher thinks making animal noises is funny. Sometimes at dinner or even eating lunch at school, he snorts like a pig, clicks like a chicken, or makes whooping noises. What would you say to Christopher about his behavior?
