I bought this product to use in my play therapy practice. I am looking for a substitute for wet sand, since using water isn't practical in my setting. This sands seems to be Moon Sand with a new name. If you liked Moon Sand, then you will like this product. I find that it sticks to my hands. I am not bothered by this, but it could easily bother those who are sensitive to their hands feeling 'messy.' I'm concerned it will stick too much to items put in the tray and get everywhere. It holds a mold okay, but doesn't produce a mold as satisfying or fun as wet sand or kinetic sand. I have used wet sand before & kids love it, but it is difficult to get just the right amount of water in so the sand will mold but not be too wet or dry. Kinetic sand (ex. Sands Alive) is seems to be the best option for a wet sand alternative, although it is more expensive.
