I bought several of these in order to provide a class set of fidget toys for my seventh graders. Let's begin with the pros:
1. These fidget toys are silent. As someone who concentrates better with a fidget tool myself, I recognize the benefits of them. However, typical toys such as fidget spinners and cubes make noise, so they end up providing a distraction to other students who are sensitive to noises.
2. The kids love them! I didn't know how a bunch of middle schoolers would react to having these available, but they were universally loved! Even kids who didn't "need" them were still happy to have them, and they have not turned into a major distraction.
However, there is one major con that prevents a five-star rating. I bought four boxes for my class, and roughly half of each box had an end that popped open. This is not a major issue since they can be sewn back fairly easily (provided you don't lose the marbles), but still stands as an annoyance.
